| Installation is simple, and a "U"
strap at the top of the housing is usually sufficient support after piping
is completed.
Float controller should be mounted
above the high water level in the sump, and the water at the float control
should be equal to or greater than the pressure of the valve inlet. Standard
valve size is 1".
Other available valve sizes are: 1/2",
3/4", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" and 2".
Kit consists of float assembly as shown
in schematic drawing plus appropriately sized hydraulic valve, less copper
control tubing and PVC piping. |
The float control
is mounted above the high water level in the tank. The valve is installed
in the line leading to the tank and is connected to the float control pilot
by tubing.
When line pressure is used to operatethe
valve, tubing connections are made from the float control pilot to the
valve cover, and also to the inlet side of the valve.
The control may be installed at any
elevation above the valve, providing that the flowing line pressure in
P.S.I. is equal to or greater than the vertical distance in feet between
the valve and float control. |
